"Careful selection, verified origin, rigorous input control."
The quality of the final product starts with the raw material. In medical devices, the choice of material is crucial - it determines the functionality, safety and durability of the entire device. That's why we work exclusively with precious metals and alloys that meet the strictest standards for use in healthcare.
We are not only concerned with physical or chemical properties, but also with origin, batch and traceability. We test and record every material we buy. We only work with suppliers we can trust - just as our customers can trust us.
For the production of marker bands we use only proven metals and alloys that have stood up to clinical practice and production testing. Gold and platinum based products are standard.
•
Gold (Au 18ct)
high visibility under X-ray and fluoroscopy, easy machining and forming (suitable for thin-walled structures), very good compatibility with human tissue.
•
Platinum (Pt 99,95% ASTM B561)
high X-ray contrast even with smaller volumes, higher strength and stability of the prosthesis, ideal for implantable and performance-intensive applications.
•
Platinum–Iridium (Pt/Ir 90/10 ASTM B684)
exceptional strength while maintaining excellent X-ray visibility, high resistance to mechanical wear and corrosion, excellent biocompatibility for long-term use.
The basis of every reliable component is quality material. That's why we place special emphasis on the selection of raw materials - we only use high-purity metals and alloys that meet strict standards for use in the medical industry. We work exclusively with verified and contracted suppliers whose materials have long met the required quality. We take into account not only physical and chemical properties, but also technological processability and stability in production. We believe that precision and safety start with the right material.
Each material delivery undergoes a multi-stage incoming inspection, during which we verify dimensional, physical and chemical parameters, certificates of origin and composition and compliance with production requirements. Each input material is assigned a unique designation and is fully traceable within the production batch. We maintain detailed records of suppliers, batches of materials supplied and the results of input and output measurements. Our internal system interfaces allow us to track the entire material path - from input to finished component. We keep all production, measurement and output control records. In the healthcare industry, traceability is not only a standard, but also a criterion for customer confidence.
